A lover of conversation and coffee– but especially of both together– Micki started blogging in 2007 as a way to connect with faraway friends and family. In the years since, home has jumped continents, children have grown, and family life has changed drastically. The “happy chaos” that inspired earlier writings has become a quieter joy that shines through any circumstances. And though she still has not figured out a way to get coffee out of her computer, hope springs eternal. In that same hopeful spirit, she’ll dust off the coffee machines and reboot the conversation after a seven-year silence as she catches up the threads of sacred old dreams.
